The system of compounding of offences for traffic violations otherwise known as the'spot fine system'
As per G.O Ms.No.30 Home (Tr. VII) Department dated 11.01.2007 and modified G.O.Ms.No.580 Home (Transport VII) Department dated 6.06.2007, the following offences can be compound under spot fine system as follows:-
